I completed my Ph.D. degree at the TU Vienna in 2008 and my MBA degree at the California Lutheran University in 2016. With more than 15 years of professional experience in automotive embedded systems, I support traditional companies in their digital transformation. As innovation manager I accompany digitalization projects by collaborative research programs , with support from funded research programs, as appropriate. Parallel to this, I am acting as external expert for the European Commission, and as guest lecturer at the and FH Kufstein. Every digitization is a challenge and I am happy to support you on your way!

As of mid-March 2024, Florian joined the team at Armengaud Innovate, bringing with him substantial experience as an industrial engineer, who operates at the nexus of technology and economics, with a specialized skill set in the management of business models. His research delves deeply into the realm of sustainable passenger mobility, unveiling the potentials of emerging mobility solutions. At Armengaud Innovate, his focus centers on the mobility-related EU funded research projects like EM-TECH project, HighScape and SmartCorners, pursuing innovation management with a view to amplifying project impacts. Florian, we appreciate your efforts and are thrilled to welcome you onboard!

Since I started to accompany “my” first EU project in 2009, project coordination and communication have been my passion. Since then, I have been able to manage projects in various funding programs and complement my practical experience with an MSc in “European Project and Public Management”. Today, I manage projects in a wide variety of sectors and take care of all the different tasks that arise during implementation.

I completed my master’s degree at the FH Wiener Neustadt while working and have always kept a cool head. As a project manager at Armengaud Innovate, I make sure that projects are handled clearly and in no time at all. I am an experienced project manager with a deep interest in clean and green environments and the technologies that can make them possible. With many years of experience in Earth Observation and strong communication skills I have successfully supported institutions and companies on their way to using satellite data in hydrological, phenological or agricultural applications. I have also represented these institutions in several EU-funded multi-partner projects. My educational background includes a PhD from the Technical University of Vienna with a focus on the use of remote sensing for studies of water in vegetation and soils and a Master’s degree with specialisation in Cartography, Remote Sensing, and GIS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a project manager at Armengaud Innovate GmbH, my main responsibilities include environmental projects and projects related to the space observation and navigation. I am responsible for the innovation management of these projects as well as their outreach and sustainability. I am passionate about connecting people, their ideas and technologies for a better environment.
