International Day of Women and Girls in Science
February 11, 2025
The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated annually on February 11th. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls. The goal ist to recognize their contribution, address gender disparities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and encourage more young women to pursue careers in these fields.

We took the occasion and went for a little walk at the Schwarzlsee with Marcela Permann-Doubkova.
